BELLENDORF
Gertrude "Gert" Bellendorf (nee. Merrick) passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2013. She is predeceased by her husband, Paul C. Bellendorf and is survived by her daughters, Jean (Jay) Kreuzer of Kailua-Kona, HI, Nancy (J.D.) Olsen of Phoenix, AZ and Mary Jo (Greg) List of Edgewood, KY; grandsons, Jeremy and Jared Kreuzer, James and Joseph List; brother, James Merrick of Winter Haven, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews. Gert was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Church of Ft. Mitchell, KY. She was also involved in St. Joseph Alumni Association, St. Elizabeth Medical Center Auxillary and St. Mary's Altar Society. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 9 AM-10 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, both at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Entombment immediately following at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Point ARC of Northern Kentucky, 104 West Pike Street, Covington, KY 41011 or St. Charles Care Center, 600 Farrell Dr., Covington, KY 41011. I am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. I have such wonderful memories of days long ago when we laughed a lot and enjoyed each other's company.

I will always remember Gert as a real lady with a smile on her face and a kind word for all. She always greeted me when I saw her at STE. A true loss for her family and friends.
