Harry Morgan Obituary
Harry C. Morgan Jr., 90 of Highland Heights, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Mr. Morgan was retired from Fireman Fund Insurance as a Senior Special Agent. He was a graduate of Newport High School. Harry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newport where he was a Deacon, member of the Church Choir and a Sunday School Teacher. Also a Member of the Committee of 500. He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran being a part of the 3501st AAF Base Unit, and was awarded the American Theater Ribbon and World War II Victory Medal. Born February 22, 1926 in Cincinnati, OH to Harry C. Morgan and Anna Keehn Morgan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kora Ormes Morgan and his sister Jean Morgan Gripshover. Survived by his Daughter, Leslie DeSimone and his Granddaughter, Hope DeSimone. Visitation 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Dobbling Funeral Home, 106 S. Fort Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Service will follow at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at the Dobbling Funeral Home, Fort Thomas, Kentucky, with Rev. Dan Francis, officiating. Entombment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Rd., Florence, KY 41042 or to Muscular Distrophy Assn.,1080 Nimitzview Dr. Suite 208, Cincinnati, OH 45230.
