In Chung Obituary
In Young Chung--husband of Hae Soo Chung, father of David (Carrie Knecht) Chung and Paul (Annie Suh) Chung, grandfather of Samantha Chung and Olivia Chung--died on February 7, 2017. Mr. Chung attended college at Seoul National University in Korea, received his PhD in mathematics at McMaster University, and was a professor of mathematics at the University of Cincinnati for over 30 years. Memorial visitation will be Saturday February 18th from 2-3 PM with a memorial service following at 3PM and a reception at 4PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Ave. 45223. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati (kidney.org).

I was Prof Chung's first or second PhD student. I am so sorry to be finding this memorial so long after his death. He made it possible for me to pursue my career in mathematics and later in computer science.
