James McLafferty Obituary

McLafferty

James A. McLafferty, of Florence, KY passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the age of 79. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on February 27, 1938; the son of Patrick and Elizabeth McLafferty. James was a pipe insulator for Asbestos Construction. He enjoyed playing his guitar and riding his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Elaine Deaton; Son, James McLafferty Jr. James is survived by his loving wife, Ruth McLafferty; daughter, Cheryl Watson; brother, Patrick McLafferty; sister, Judy McLafferty; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as many other relatives and friends. A gathering of friends will be held from 4 PM until 6 PM on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. A Memorial Service will follow at 6 PM also at the funeral home. Memorials in James' name may be given to Rosedale Green Nursing Home 4250 Glenn Ave, Covington, KY 41015. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
