Jean Shields Obituary
Cincinnati - Jean B. Shields, of Cincinnati, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the age of 96. She is survived by her loving children, Stephen F. Shields (Pam), William S. Shields, Robert B. Shields, Allyson S. Arneson (David), Pamela S. Guerrero (John), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Dr. George S. Shields in 2016. Jean was born in Tarrytown, NY on September 10, 1924. She was a registered nurse but devoted her life to raising her 5 children. A long-time member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, she was also active in the PEO International philanthropic organization. Private services will be held at a later date to celebrate Jean's life. She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Southwest Ohio. Sympathy may be expressed at www.springgrove.org. "Beautiful blue sky, kids."

I only knew of her through her devoted daughter Pam G. I would hear great stories about Jean. She must have been great to have raised an amazing daughter (and coworker) to me. So glad you all had her for as long as you did. My deepest sympathies.
