Jeanne Shafer Obituary
Jeanne L. Shafer (nee Rothert), loving wife of the late Dean C. Shafer. Beloved mother of Carol (Ken) Suer, Jeanne (Marty) Wolfe, and Dean L. Shafer. Dear grandmother of Stephanie (Joe) Gilligan, Miles (Alexandra) Suer, and Michelle Wolfe, and great-grandmother of Tommy, Peter, and Claire. Passed away Jan. 23, 2021. Age 93. Jeanne volunteered for 25 years at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. Visitation Saturday, Jan. 30th from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00AM at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Road (45241). Facemasks and social distancing is mandated by the State of Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, 3400 Vine Street (45220). (www.mrfh.com).

Carol, Jeanne and Dean, my deepest sympathy to you and your families on the passing of your Mom. I stayed with your family in 1975 when I interviewed for a position at Summit Country Day School after graduating from EKU - Masters program. Thanks for the kind act then, as I have remained in the area for 45 year.
