John Scheben Obituary
John "Jack" A. Scheben Sr., 88, of Erlanger, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. Jack was a retired research chemist for Quantam Chemical. He served on the Erlanger Fire Department from 1947 to the present, and he was an active lifetime member of St. Henry Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frederick Scheben II, and his sister, Mary Ann Kocher. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Edwina Scheben; his children, John (Laura) Scheben Jr., Joe (Tami) Scheben, Pete (Tracy) Scheben, Therese (Jay) Paul, Tony (Connie) Scheben, and Sarah (Randy) Pierson. He also leaves behind his 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at St. Henry Elementary School Gymnasium. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10:00AM at St. Henry Catholic Church. In lieu of sending flowers, memorial contributions to: St. Henry Catholic Church 3813 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere, KY 41018 or The Erlanger Historical Society Post Office Box 18062 Erlanger, KY 41018.
