Hitch
Kenneth, age 82, April 19, 2013, Alexandria. Mr. Hitch was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school and retired serving as a deacon. He worked 38 years for Newport Steel and coached knothole baseball for 12 years. He was preceded in death by: Parents- Gerald C. and Evelyn Trapp Hitch and Brother- Donald R. Hitch. Survivors include: Wife- Ethel Gilb Hitch (57 years) - Alexandria, KY, Son-Gerald Lee (Carol) Hitch- Alexandria, KY, Daughters-Karin (Charles) Edgington- Alexandria, KY, Paula Sinclair- Cold Springs, KY, Sister- Geraldine Gray-Alexandria, KY, Grandchildren-Josh, Andrew, Deron (Cassie), Andrea (Adam), Bradley, Erich, Kenny and Nicholas. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 11212 Lees Road, Alexandria, KY 41001. Funeral Services will follow at 7 pm Monday, April 22, 2013 also at the church, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home. Burial Gathering at 10 am Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the church then departing to the Alexandria Cemetery in Alexandria, KY. Memorials are suggested tothe Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
