Lee Sweeney Obituary



SWEENEY

Lee Ann, 74, of Latonia, KY passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, while vacationing at her Florida home. She attended Holy Cross Church and graduated form Holy Cross High School. Lee Ann retired from the Northern Kentucky Medical Lab in Covington, KY where she was a Phlebotomist. She is preceded in death by her Brothers: Bill Zurborg, Fred Zurborg and Johnny Zurborg and a Sister: Joyce Prewitt. Lee Ann is survived by her Loving Husband: Robert Sweeney; Sons: Mark Sweeney, Steven Sweeney and Jay Sweeney; Daughter: Susan Sweeney-Smith; Brothers: Tim (Jeanne) Zurborg, Terry Zurborg and Roger (Bev) Zurborg; Sister: Janie (Ed) Kiely; eleven Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 from 4:00 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM at St. Patrick Church, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Memorial Suggestions should be made to the Holy Cross High School, 3617 Church Street, Latonia, KY 41015. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.connleybrothersfuneralhome.com

I had the opportunity to spend time with Josh's Grandma a few times. I loved and appreciated the way she cared for him! I could see her love for life and for her family.
Lee Ann was a true blessing!
May God hold her, ever so close in his glory.
