I met Marian when I moved next door to her and Jim in 1963. I never knew anyone from Ky, and my Ct ideas of a Kentuckian wasn't Marian.
Marian was my go-to mom when I needed advice about my first daughter, Lisa. She had 3 kids by then and was a professional mom. He house was a gathering place for all the neighborhood kids--the fun house. Our trips to Vegas, Arizona, California, Maine were filled with laughs. There was always laughter when Marian was in the room especially if Rocky Top Tennessee was playing--brought out the Kentucky girl in her. Memories of Marian will never fade. She was too memorable a person for that to happen.

I owe Marian so much, putting my shoes on the right feet when I was at her house to play or making sure my Mom took me to the hospital when I needed stitches. Most of all she had the best snacks in the neighborhood. She ran a tight ship at home but she loved her family. She was so proud of all her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and having the family gatherings. Her smile and laugh will me missed. My thoughts and prayers with are with all of you.

We always enjoyed seeing the two of you at a Power's family party and Craig would take joy in teasing her about anything just to hear her infectious laugh. She was a great lady, so full of life and will be sorely missed by many. Blessings and hugs to all of you.

Jim, Im so sorry for your loss. I loved working with Marian. I had spent many times in her office sharing stories of my kids, your grandkids and many more. Her infectious laugh was always a blessing. We shared a birthday and always said I could be your mother! Some days a felt she was! Love to you all and will keep you in our prayers.
