Robert M., beloved husband of 54 years to Barbara (nee Froehlich) Schroer. Devoted father of Cindy (Fred) Hartman, Mark (Kelly) Schroer and Dan (Jill) Schroer. Loving grandfather of Dustin (Sarah), Tiffany (Matthew), Jack, Jamie, Julia, Joseph, Eliza and Oliver. Great grandfather of Cali and Addison. Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Emiline (nee Bechtel) Schroer and his brother, Thomas Schroer. Passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016, at the age of 75. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Friday (Oct. 7) from 9:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church (White Oak), 3565 Hubble Rd., at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Make a Wish Foundation, 4742 North 24th Street, Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
