Fort Wright - Sydney Josephine Terrell, age 79, of Fort Wright, KY passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was a graduate of St. Aloysius grade school and LaSalette Academy '59 and attended monthly gatherings with classmates. She retired from Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission as Senior Program Director, was a Member of the Kenton County Democratic Party, the treasurer for the Social Outreach at St. Augustine's Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and a volunteer at the Notre Dame Urban Education Center. Sydney played the piano, loved music and was an avid theatre goer. She was fortified with the Sacraments and served as a devout member of St. Augustine parish. She is survived by her loving children, Todd Terrell (Lisa) of Covington, KY, Kelly Heeb (Bryan) of Ft. Wright, KY and Kim Crail (Kevin) of Edgewood, KY; Memaw to Sarah Terrell, Elisha Taylor, Sheena Terrell, Ricky Terrell, Joey Heeb, Karly Crail, Andy Heeb, Kyle Crail, and Katie Crail; 6 great-grandchildren; and her loving dog companion of 15 years, Mandy. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at St. Augustine Church from 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Augustine Church 1839 Euclid Avenue, Covington, KY 41014.
