Sylvia Hermann Obituary
Sylvia Grace Hermann (Nee Wiggins), 82, of Crestview Hills, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2016 with her family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Deacon Robert "Bob" Hermann. She is also preceded in death by her daughters; Deborah S. Rhoades and Barbara Thacker. Sylvia is survived by her children, Daniel Hermann (Mary Hill-Hermann) of Crestview Hills, KY, and Linda Glahn of Falmouth, KY; sister, Susan Maynard (Ken). She will also be missed by her 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 4 PM- 7 PM at MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME 3312 MADISON PK. FORT WRIGHT, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10 AM at St. John Church in Covington, KY. Interment will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials take form of donations to: Saint John Christian Service Ministry, 627 Pike Street, Covington, KY 41011 and/or Hospice of the Bluegrass 7388 Turfway Rd. Florence, KY 41042 and/or American Cancer Society 297 Buttermilk Pike Lakeside Park, KY 41017. Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright, is assisting the family with arrangements.
