Timothy Owens Obituary
Timothy S. Owens, cherished husband of 34 years to Laura (nee Norcom), passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the age of 59 while working on his beloved farm. He is survived by his sons Nathan and Ben, brother Jack and sisters Judy DeStefon and Diane Fitzpatrick. He worked as a manager at the P&G family since 1983, most recently, in corporate quality assurance. He greatly enjoyed recruiting and counseling many engineers. He will always be remembered as a deliberate and levelheaded advisor to colleagues, family and friends. He was a committed family man who enjoyed sharing his passions for horseback riding, surfing, native gardening, racecars, sailing, and farming with those he loved. Please join us to celebrate his life on Wednesday, June 15 for a visitation from 3-5 and a memorial service to follow at 5 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland and a dinner after at the family home. Donations can be sent to the Healing Center at the Vineyard Cincinnati where he volunteered.

I just heard the news yesterday. Sending up prayers to the family. I worked with Tim as the R&D Engineer Recruiting Specialist years ago and he was always nice and a great/passionate recruiter, he truly loved what he did. He will be missed.

My wife and I were taken aback to learn of Tim's sudden and unexpected passing. Tim was my boss in Oral Care at P&G some years back and was an excellent manager. We kept in touch after I retired, getting together several times a year for lunch and for other functions. We last met for lunch six weeks ago and he was excited for me to see the M3 that he had recently purchased. We took it on a drive north of I-275 so he could give me a demo. It was a really nice, fast and good handling machine. I'll miss his friendship of many years. We are keeping Laura, Nate, and Ben in our prayers.
