Vicki York Obituary
Melbourne - Vicki Sue Voneye York, age 68, of Melbourne, KY passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood, KY. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Nellie (nee Works) Voneye and her brother, Jerry Voneye. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, James L. York; two daughters, Angel (Jimmy) Morgan and Jerry Lynn (Glenn) Morgan; two brothers, Elwood Sterling and Danny Voneye; sister, Judy Voneye Hinds; four grandchildren, Brittany Morgan, Victoria Burchfield, Logan Burchfield, and Anthony Morgan; great-granddaughter, Peyton Bauer. Vicki cherished being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was lovingly called "Nanny" by her grandchildren. Vicki was a treasure to her entire family and she will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held Friday, November 9th from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, Kentucky. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY. Memorial Donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences can be given at alexandriafh.com.
