William Botkin Obituary
William "Bill" Franklin Botkin, 84, of Florence, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Bill was a retired machine operator at Ford Motor Company for 36 years. He served in the US Navy and was a member of the First Church of God in Covington. He was a ballroom dancer and enjoyed reading, computers and was a Cincinnati Bengals fan. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, John and Violet Botkin, son, Daniel Epperson, sister, Thelma Wilson, brothers, Robert and Harry Botkin and mother of his children, Dorothy Botkin. He is survived by a daughter, Darlene Thomas (Greg), son, Ronald Botkin (Nhung), brother, Earl Botkin, sister Joy Henry (Dave), granddaughters, Dawnna Moorehead (Corey) and Johanna Abshear (Kelly), 4 great-grandchildren, 1 great-greatgranddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Florence on Monday, December 5, 2016. Visitation will be from 11 AM till 1 PM. The funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to: Hospice of St. Elizabeth, 483 S. Loop Dr., Edgewood, KY 41017. Online condolences: chambersandgrubbs.com
