WILLIAM STEPHENSON Obituary
William "Bill" Lee Stephenson, age 74 Florence, KY passed away May 29, 2011 at his residence. He was a member of Union Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Eugene, Buck and Howard. Survived by sons Tom (Angie) of Union, Doug (Karen) of Milford, Ohio and daughter Beth Victor (C.J.) of Hebron. Seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Brothers, Jim of Verona and Russell of Union. Sisters, Norma Jean and Fay of Florence, Virginia Mae and Mabel of Union, Jessie of Walton, Freida of Crestview Hills and Helen of Chicago. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Union Baptist Church to be divided between the Truck Stop Ministry and PEL Ministries. Services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 am at Florence Baptist Church 642 Mt. Zion Rd., Florence, KY 41042. Burial will be private. Online condolences to www.stithfuneralhomes.com

I was so saddened to hear of Bill & Peggy's passing on the news today. I knew them years ago when Bill and I sold Mr. Bee Pollen products together, and I have harbored a great deal of love and respect for them ever since. I pray for the "peace that passes all understanding" for their whole family & friends, for this is undoubtedly one of those tragic occurrences in life that will never make sense to any of us. I thank our God for giving us such a great couple as examples of Christian life.

So very sorry for your loss. My husband I met Bill while working at Lay's Plumbing. He always took the time to stop out and see us to see how things were going, if we were in need of anything for insurance or retirement or anything in our personal lives. He was a very kind and thoughtful person. Northern Kentucky has truly lossed a wonderful human being. Keeping you and your family in our prayes.

We first met Bill when he came to the Happy Church with Jerry Reiner. We all grew to love him as he came each month to bring food and clothing to our congregation. He will be dearly missed. We are praying for you during this time.
