Wilkerson, Peggy D. Wilkerson, and the late Claudean Z. Wilkerson. She had two brothers Claude Wilkerson Jr. and Ronald L. Wilkerson. Denika D. Memories and Condolences
for Adele Wilkerson

Not sure what to say?

October 17, 2014

One of my fondest memories of Adele was when we celebrated our 20th year reunion by cruising to Mexico. Adele, Monica and I were roommates. We had such a wonderful time. Adele was always bubbly, with an infectious laugh. Every time I think about her, I think about how happy she was.

I miss Adele, but I am grateful for the memories. I will cherish them. I am also happy that I had the opportunity to share in the beautiful celebration of her life with her family and friends. My continued thoughts and prayers remain with the family.

Sincerely,

Elease M. Lewis, McD #35 C/O 82

To my childhood family. I express my deepest sympathy in the lost of "Delly". Outside of family, she was my second female friend that I can remember. Although, I started school before she did and our lives took us in alternate paths, I always treasured the memories of our babydolls, coke bottle dolls, roller skates and mud pies :)

My Prayers are with you.
Love,
Tammy Croom-Brumfield

Our hearts are sadden for a while, knowing that our mentor {Mrs.Ziggy} and her loved ones has lost one of their closest friends. This too is only a temporary good bye and knowing you will see her again also brings a great feeling of anticipation.

To Adele's family, I pray for you to remember all the lives Adele has touched, including my own. Her strength and courage was something to behold. I will miss her sense of humor and her insight into peoples moods that surronded her on M5. She always asked with sincerity if I was okay.
Imagine that! We had many laughs and shared much sadness. I admired your sisters being there around the clock never leaving your side. What a beautiful family!
I will miss you and will always carry your flame in my heart
Love to all, Gods grace endures

Our prayers and heartfelt condolences extend to our cousins (the Wilkerson & Deshotel families) and to all who loved and grieve "Deli". She was a sweet and gentle spirit, with a kind and magical smile that will never be forgotten. She was also a fighter and a true humanitarian whose life served to touch and help improve the lives of others throughout her own struggle. She may never know just how far-reaching her courage was, but God knows; and, for that kind of selfless thinking and giving, may she be eternally blessed! To the families and loved ones: May God seal you in His unending grace; and may His love continually comfort and strengthen each of you.
With love and prayers,
