This family was most amazing! My family knew Mr. & Mrs. Porche and Albert II. For most of my early childhood into teenage years, we lived three houses away from the pharmacy and would spend every cent of allowances there. All medication came from Galvez Pharmacy, we supported them but oh my they supported soooooo many families! They were a pillars of love and support for our community. I've searched for years to find you guys, just to say I love you and thank you for everything you've ever done not just for my family but for others in our community / neighborhood. I'm sure Mr. Porche gave Albert II the biggest hug from all of us when they met again. I love the Porche family and I hope to see momma Bernadette Porche again. Love Always, Shamika Lewis Malone (grew up on Piety).

Was very saddened to get the news. I can still remember looking across the classroom at St Aug, and seeing Albert sitting there. He always seemed quiet, studious, and very peaceful. Then I felt bad for him having to spend an extra year at Xavier to finish his degree, while we were off to beat the world. Little did I realize he was just starting a great an productive career. We'll miss an extraordinary man. My best wishes to his wife & Family.

Having known my cousin Albert all of my life I can say that a finer man there has never been. Even though many years would pass between our meetings given his humility, great love and gentility one would think that we were together all the time. There will certainly be a void in the lives of all who knew and loved Albert John Proche, Sr.

To Albert's family: I pray that you have peace in this time of transition. I am a member of his art class at The Bowden MPC. We will miss his charm and humor. We laughed and had a good time. We embrace you as our family and mourn with you. But we rejoice in knowing that he was with the love of his life and lived the life he loved.
May God's love and peace keep you and comfort your family during this season we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
