Alexander Joseph Amond

AMOND Alexander Joseph Amond, known by loved ones as Alex, A.J. or Jay, passed away on Good Friday, April 2, 2010 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Caroll Pittman Amond. Preceded in death by: his mother, Bobbie DeNoux Roberts and father, Alexander Joseph Amond; and 2 sons: Bradley and Brian Amond. He is survived by sons: Bart and Bruce Amond and daughters: Alexis Schiro and Caroll Robert. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Meagan, Michael Jr., Austin and Alex Robert, Sabrina Lipscey and Katrina Munch, Bryce Amond, Bart Jr., Brett, and Byron Amond, Brittney Amond, Amanda Schiro and 8 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his 3 adored aunts: Earline Provenzano, Bess Horstmann Vargo, Marian Masson; dear godchild, Andrea Jones-Masson, and many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 128 East 19th Street at Jefferson, Covington, LA on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Tammany Parish Hospice or Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
