Alice Lill Obituary

LILL Alice Daly Lill, of Cherry Hill, NJ, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on March 1st, 2011. She was the daughter of the late John T. Daly and Alma Rourke Daly. She was predeceased by her husband Harborough Lill, Jr., her brother John T. Daly, Jr., and her grandson Michael Patrick Lill. She is survived by her sons Harborough (Teresa), Thomas (Gail), John Robert, David (Eddie), Kevin with whom she lived and daughter Susan Dutko (Paul). She is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alice attended Newcomb College and was graduated from Tulane University. Prior to raising her family, Alice worked at the Times-Picayune as a contributing writer. During WWII, she did public relations work for Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corp. After raising her family, Alice enjoyed working at the Cherry Hill Public Library. Alice was a wonderful mother. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday at Christ Our Light Church.

Alice and I worked together many years at the Cherry Hill Library and remained friends for many years. We used to go the the Forrest Theater in Philadelphia
and have brunch before the plays.
.I have many fond memories of her.
