RUIZ Alpheus John (A.J.) Ruiz, Jr. passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008. Former husband of Linda Juraszek Ruiz. Son of Audrey Adams Ruiz Necaise and the late Alphues John Ruiz, Sr. Father of Aaron Michael Ruiz, Tiffany Ruiz Hentze (husband Keith), Stephanie Marie Ruiz, Dawn Marie Timmons (husband Scott) and the late Ryan Peter Ruiz, Sr. Grandfather of Kirsten, Kayla, Aaron Jr., Kourtnie, Joseph, Zachary, Joshua, Travis, Matthew, Shelby, Skylar and the late Ryan, Jr. Brother of Dennis Necaise (wife Dana) and Linda Doty (husband Pete). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Ruiz served in the United States Marines and made 2 tours in Vietnam. Age 64 years. A native of Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Union Pacific Railroad are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 500 Eliza Street, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 1:00PM. Interment in McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Tuesday from 9:00AM until 12:30PM.
