Amy Lyn Bordelon Rothaermel

Amy Lyn Bordelon Rothaermel passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Amy was born in New Orleans, LA and was a physical therapist at the New Orleans VA Medical Center. She was the proud mother of two daughters, Mignonne Reine and Marigny Rose, and devoted wife to her husband of 12 years, Brett Rothaermel, whom she married on March 17, 2012. Amy volunteered in various activities in the community and at St. Edward the Confessor School where their girls attended school. Amy was the loving daughter of Steve and Linda Bordelon and sister of Jeffrey Bordelon (Betsy) and Brian Bordelon (April). She was the daughter-in-law of Yvette Rothaermel and sister-in-law of Kristian Rothaermel. On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the family welcomes everyone to the visitation at 9:00 am at Metairie Baptist Church, 401 Codifer Blvd., Metairie, LA 70005. The family will then celebrate Amy's life in a service at 11:00 am. Following the service, a luncheon will be provided in the Fellowship Hall.
