A new year begins as the last one dissipates like the smoke from a cigar. The memories linger like the taste of as good whiskey or bourbon. Where have two years gone?
The phone would ring and on the other end was the wonderful voice that was attached to an endearing smile. It was Andrew calling to share stories of how he spent the holidays. A short phone call usually lasted a half an hour. The good calls last many times longer. Andrew and I talked about the events in our lives since the last time we spoke. We talk about magic and the conventions either of us would be attending. We checked our calendars hoping our paths would cross. This is the time of year I miss my friend the most.
Andrew, you are missed my friend and not forgotten.

Andrew and I were best friends. The best thing I ever found it on magic convention was his friendship. That was almost 12 years ago. Andrew and I enjoyed many hours on the phone, and I was lucky enough to join him in his family in Las Vegas, and in New Orleans. He loved and cared about his family and always put them first. It always amazes me how much Andrew knew about construction and I always told him he should´ve been a lawyer. I will always cherish and remember the times we had together, Andrew enjoyed life and made the most of it every day. I will never forget him and his kindness. Andrew until we meet again, aloha

I am missing my friend Andrew.
Our bond was magic. For the last 9 years Andrew and I enjoyed a long-distance friendship with phone calls, e-mails and texts. We shared ideas regarding our craft of entertaining people with our magic. Andrew contributed to my book "The Magic Graveyard." It was a delight to be on the phone with him. Somehow every 10-minute call lasted an hour. Finally, in October 2021 we met at a magic history conference in Orlando. Andrew treated me to a delicious steak dinner and afterward we found ourselves in a cigar bar. It was a perfect evening with plans for a future get together. Alas that will be put off until we meet at the big magic convention in heaven. My prayers are with Bam and Drew that God comforts you during this very sad time. Andrew and I never had a conversation without him mentioning you. He cherished and loved you both.
May you rest in peace my friend.
Aloha,
