Anita Klopf Martinez

MARTINEZ Anita Klopf Martinez, age 90 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at her home in Covington, LA. She was a resident of New Orleans, LA for 88 years. Anita was the beloved wife of the late Andrea Francis Martinez, Sr., and loving mother of Andrea "Ray" Martinez, Jr. and Dianne Duet both of Covington. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her grandchildren: David Duet, Dale Duet, Rodney Martinez, Rhonda Kirth, Darryl Duet, and Dana Duet-Champagne, along with 9 great grandchildren. Her sisters and brothers include the late John Klopf, the late Rosemary Retif, the late Eva Mumme, Lenora Frey, the late Charles Klopf, Dottie Kozlovic, Margaret Frazier, and Robert Klopf. Special thanks and appreciation to her wonderful caretakers for whom we are forever grateful! Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, April 19, 2008. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon with a Mass at 12:00 noon in the Chapel, followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery.
