Anna Louise Northrop "Weezie" Peneguy

PENEGUY Louise (Weezie) Northrop Peneguy, born February 21, 1916, died at the age of 93 on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Weezie was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian, MS and a member of Holy Family Parish (St. Paul Church). She was also a member of St. Paul Altar Society, Pass Christian Garden Club, Pass Christian Isles Golf Club, and Pass Christian Yacht Club. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and John Northrop; her husband, Edward Wisner Peneguy, Sr; and her son, John Daniel Peneguy. She is survived by her children, Edward W. (Betsy) Peneguy, Jr., of Baton Rouge, LA, Michael J. (Sherry) Peneguy, of Slidell, LA, Robert O. (Cindy) Peneguy, of Mobile, AL, William A (Sharon) Peneguy, Ann P. Blount of Pass Christian; Jane P. Casey of Bonner Springs, KS; and James N. (Cynthia) Peneguy of Baton Rouge, LA; eighteen grandchildren, Edward W. Peneguy, II, Jeanne Peneguy, Michael Peneguy, Matthew Peneguy, Craig Peneguy, Daniel Peneguy, Robert O. Peneguy, Jr., Jennifer P. Schmidt, Owen W. Peneguy, W. Oliver Peneguy, Louise Peneguy, Katherine Walton, Phillip Blount, John Casey, Ryan Casey, Zach Casey, Christopher Peneguy and Jessica P. Morein; and fourteen great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish Church in Pass Christian at Noon on Saturday, August 15, 2009, with visitation starting one hour before.
