Anthony Lee Adams (Capt.), 63, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Lee was born August 12, 1957 to the late Lee Anthony Adams and Verna Smith Adams and was a resident of Lafitte for 20 years. He is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Annette Devlin Adams; his sons, David Adams (Candace) and Lee A. Adams; his grandson, Asher Lee Adams; and his brother, Gregory Mayeaux. Lee was a graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School and discovered his passion for the water at a very young age. This passion led him to start many successful businesses for over 40 years in the Offshore Industry. He held an Offshore Ocean Racing Championship title. He was also a long time member of The New Orleans Big Game Fishing Club. Lee loved fishing, hunting, boating, a good steak, music, and spending quality time with family and friends. He enjoyed watching sunsets with his wife Annette and living life to its fullest. He was very knowledgeable as there was nothing he could not fix. Always willing to help people, Lee impacted many lives as he never gave up on anyone. He is loved and respected by everyone that met him.
