Thinking about Anthony I remember he always had a new joke for us and chuckled to himself if it was a good one. I do miss our dinners together.

To the entire Scalco family, we share your sense of loss but hope you are consoled by your many wonderful memories of him. We knew him for many years as patients, and knew for certain we were in the care of the finest physician and one of the kindest, gentlest human beings we've ever known. A visit to his office to see him and Leona and all the rest of his wonderful staff was like going to visit dear family. Rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear that such a wonderful man and doctor has left us all. My mother was his patient, and when I needed an ENT doctor for my 3 year old son in 1974, of course that's who we went to for help. We saw him on a regular basis for years, and I used to ask if we could just rent out a corner of his waiting room since we were there so often! He also helped me with my sinus problems, as well as other members of my family - and friends. My husband and I had surgeries performed by Steven, and I always felt he followed in his father's footsteps when it came to patient care. I know you are all going to miss him ... my prayers and sympathy are with you all.

Dear Family of Dr. Scalco,

Dr. Scalco removed my tonsils at Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Hospital in the Children's Ward when I was about 4 years old. I remember him with fond affection. I continued seeing him into adulthood for various sinus-related conditions and he was always calm and kind, and such a gentle man and physician. My deepest sympathy to all of you and his loved ones.

Dear Jackie and Family,
Please know of my heartfelt sympathy
in the loss of our dear friend, Anthony.
He was a true gentleman and a faithful Doctor. His reassuring prescence often was a comfort to this
Mom and her family worries. And I feel
blessed to have shared many fun times as we met on our Parents' night outs.
May His soul now rest eternally in
God's Heavenly Rewards. And may each of his family be comforted by God's
Angels here on earth.
With Love and Prayers,

Mrs. Scalco & Family,

My deepest condolences to you on the loss of a wonderful man, husband, father, and physician. I met Dr. Anthony as a patient at E.N.T. Hospital's Emergency room in 1964 at the tender age of 10 years old. I will forever remember his gentle bedside manner and comforting voice. The world and profession has lost a good man.
A special message to Dr. Steven...I can't imagine what you were experiencing during your office visits today. I am grateful for you seeing patients during this very difficult time. I wanted to ask about your dad, but something held me back. I wish now that I would have asked that question.
My wish for all of you, the family, is that the memories you made with him while he was here, keep him forever alive in your hearts. May God bless you and all he touched.
