To the family of Anthony Sylvester: There are no words to comfort you in such a sudden loss, but underneath the words are deep feelings. You are cared for very warmly, you are prayed for often, and you are wished the peace of treasured memories as you honor the life of a reserved and refined gentleman. I enjoyed working as a teacher under his guidance as principal.
Sincerely,

To Anthony's Family, God is able to heal all sorry and especially the pain of death.
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of my friend, Anthony Sylvester. He and I shared many educational ideas and thoughts about how to make students successful and what educational leader should do to make schools better for all learner. He was a kind and gentle person who was respected by everyone who knew him. We developed a long friendship which included my wife (Angelyn) and children (Meika and Joe, Jr.). He was the godfather of my youngest son (Jason). He was apart of many social events at my home prior to Katrina. He will be missed. God Loves You! Your Soul is at Peace.
