A letter to My Daddy
Hi Daddy, it's been 4 extremely long years and 6 days since I've loss you. I never imagined life without my dad, my king, my big chief. Daddy you made every single day brighter. Your faith in God was stronger than one can imagine despite all that you have gone through. I absolutely loved, loved, loved your heart and the man that you were. I am who I am because of who and how my parents are. You were My Diamond-Gorgeous inside and out, Exquisite, Rare but One of A Kind!!! You exemplifies the character we all should have. You would give your very last to anyone who needed it Daddy. You loved hard and loved the world. I hated when you wanted to take me door to door in your neighborhood to show me off because you loved me with all of your heart, were so proud to call me your own and you were truly proud of who I was but now if I could have you back I would initiate it because i know thats what you enjoyed and I truly appreciate the love you had for me. You loved me like no other. You told the world! I know there is no father that loves his daughter the way you loved me and show it the way you displayed it. For that Dad I am Truly Grateful and Blessed to have had you as My Father!!!
YOU ARE THE BEST DADDY ANY CHILD COULD EVER WANT, WISH FOR OR HAVE!!!
You were truly Heaven sent to me. I was yourAngel, Sunshine, Twix, Pug nose and all the other nicknames you gave me and you were the wind beneath my wings. I miss picking you up to hangout with you, talking to you, laughing with you, singing for you, and just having a good ol time together. I want you to know , not a day goes by and I don't think about you. Miles and I emulate your laugh all the time as well as talk about you and how much we love and miss you. Immensely to be exact Dad!! I'm so grateful I have Miles because everything about him reminds me of you everyday thats why I fell in love with him because he's just like MY DAD ;-)) From his height, his complexion, his build, his personality, and most of all the way he treats me… just like you would want him to. When I say my prayers you are always apart of them and all my passwords symbolize you father. I Love Me Some Antoine Reginald LaGarde, My Daddy Forever!!!!

A Poem To My Dad
Daddy is My King
You are My Sunshine, My Shining Star
No one can compare to the King you are
I was your only child, daddy's little girl
I took my own path, but was still part of your world
When I'd look in your eyes, all the love I'd see
How did I get so lucky, you were the dad chosen for me
He wasn't a King known to the world
But a King he was to his little girl
Daddy like a King, strong, faithful and true
There will never be another quite like you
His presence was important and we loved to see his smile
For no one in the world could emulate his style
There's something special about a father's love
Seems it was sent to me from above
Daddy, our love is everlasting, I just wanted you to know
That you're my special King and will suffer no more
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU DADDY, LOVE YOUR ONE AND ONLY ANGEL

The news of Antoine's passing saddens me. I rejoice in thinking that he is at peace now with his momma and away from the cares and worries of this world.

My prayers are with the family. I am so sorry that I was not there to share in Antoine's Homegoing celebration. I went to school with Gilda and everyone that knew Antoine, loved him. He had a way of making you smile. I just saw this notice because we've been living in Baton Rouge. I haven't had a chance to share this news with my mother, but I will tell you for her, that she loved Antoine. So family all that's left is to remember all the good times you shared with him, while the Lord allow us to have him with us. Believe that we will all meet up again, in that place known as HEAVEN. Until then, reflect and love on one another. This is what he would have wanted.
