Arnold Joseph (Sonny) Lirette, Sr. at West Jefferson Medical Center on Saturday, September 13, 2003. Beloved husband of Doris Adams Lirette. Son of the late Allie and Victoria Lirette. Father of Patrick Lirette, Linda Strohmeyer, Victoria Rodriguez, Hope Lirette, Arnold Joseph Lirette, Jr., Curren Lirette and Diane Brewer. Brother of Allie Lirette, Roland Lirette, Albert Lirette and the late Irene Prosperie. Grandfather of Raymond Strohmeyer, Kimberly Strohmeyer, Ryan Rodriguez, Renee Rodriguez, Rebecca Rodriguez, Morgan Lirette, Lauren Lirette, Steven Lirette, Andrew Lirette, Lacey Brewer and the late Keith Rodriguez. Great grandfather of Ashton Strohmeyer, Abigail Strohmeyer and one expected great grandchild. Mr. Lirette is also survived by nieces and nephews. Age 81 years. A native of Houma, LA and a resident of the Westbank. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, September 15, 2003 at 1:00PM. Interment will follow in Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, LA. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday evening September 14, 2003 from 6:00PM until 10:00PM and again on Monday morning September 15, 2003 from 8:00AM until Mass time. Information: 366-4343
