Arthur Grandpre Obituary

GRANDPRE Arthur J. Grandpre was born on June 1, 1931 to the late Agnes Smith and Anthony Grandpre. He was the stepson of the late Paul Smith and husband of the late Joyce Grandpre. Arthur was a resident of N.O. for 72 yrs. He served a 4 year term in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved daughters: Yolanda (Addison) Penn, Samuetta Pride and Romona, Dandy and Candy Grandpre, sons: Arthur Jr., Mark, Wyatt, Shawn and Derrick Grandpre, sisters: Carolyn Smith and Marvilin Lucas, brothers: Roland (Zelma) and Donald Raymond and his devoted granddaughter Brittany (Brandon) Penn. Also survived by a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Preceded in death by his daughter Belinda Grandpre, sister Marie Price, brothers: Anthony Grandpre and Clifford Prevost. Family and friends and members of Morning Star M.B.C., H.B.P.C., and Aim Home Health are invited to attend the Homegoing Service on Monday, November 25, 2013 at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, NOLA for 12:00 Noon.
