Arthyr Bennett-Nornhold Obituary
Arthyr A. Bennett-Nornhold, 78, of Harrisburg, died Sunday at his home.
He was a retired Management Analyst for the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot, an Army World War II Veteran, a bronze star recipient, was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, and the American Legion; he was the lighting director for the former Passion Players, and a contributor and supporter of the theater and arts in the Harrisburg Area.
Arthyr was passionate about landscape design and was extremely proud of his oriental garden and water fall. He was a 1944 graduate of Harrisburg High School.
He is survived by his long time companion of 50 years, Harry G. O'Donnell and several cousins.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements by Hetrick Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut Street, Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011, or to Common Roads, 1300 A North 3rd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102-1954.
