Avonn Boutan Obituary

On Monday, August 9, 2021 at 9:21 a.m. Avonn Paul Boutan, Jr. departed this life to live forever in heaven with our Lord and Savior. Avonn Paul Boutan, Jr. was born on March 24, 1981 in New Orleans, LA. He is the son of Gail M. Collins and the late Avonn Paul Boutan, Sr. He was an electrician and served in the US Navy from 1999 to 2002. He is survived by his wife Samantha Boutan, son Chastin Simms; daughters Treasure and Anaiya Boutan; sister Keitra Boutan; grandmother Shirley Collins. He is also survived by three nephews, Morrice and Malik Boutan, Makye Hubbard; and a niece MaKenzie Galloway; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, military family and special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles Collins; grandparents Louis and Delores Boutan. The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Street, New Orleans, LA 70116. Officiant: Reverend Willie D. Bradford, Jr., Beulah Baptist Church, 2921 Fourth Street, New Orleans, LA 70113.
