Barbara Jean (Allen) Bartram, 80, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 09, 2024.
Barbara was born June 7, 1944 in Saint Joseph, Missouri to her parents Donald Lloyd Allen, Sr. and Lillian Ruth (Yarger) Allen. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1962. Barbara enjoyed her employment of several years at Miller Casket Company. She later was employed and retired from Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center.
Barbara was best known by her friends and family for being a prankster and jokester. Bringing joy and a smile to people's faces with her quick wit is what she loved to do most.
Barbara Jean (Allen) Bartram was preceded in death by her parents; Donald Lloyd Allen, Sr. and Lillian Ruth (Yarger) Allen; brothers, Donald Allen, Jr. and Roger Allen; and sister, Judy Miller.
Surviving family includes; sister, Susan Allen of Saint Joseph, Missouri; brothers, Mike Allen of Easton, Missouri , Brain Allen (Tammy) of Saint Joseph, Missouri; Larry Allen (Sharon) of Kansas City, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service beginning at 12:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Troy, Kansas.
The family suggests memorial donations to American Heart Association or the donor of your choice.
