SIMON-FAISON Barbara Ann Simon- Faison, a retired office assistant of West Jefferson High School, entered into enteral rest on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Wynhoven Healthcare Center in Marrero, La., at the age of 70. She was a native and lifelong resident of Harvey, La. Loving mother of Nicole Faison. Devoted grandmother of Akeem Malik Faison. Daughter of the late Milton and Louise Simon. Sister of Doris "Maug" Hunter, Simone Simon, Grace Sider and Cathy Simon. Sister-in-law Paul C. Sider. Aunt of Julius Hunter, Erica Doroux, Tara Sider (Peter) Martin, Stephen (Monique) Sider, Liza Sider and Paula (Christopher) Bland. Great aunt of India Douroux, Sanaa, Olivia, and Malik Sider, Ronald C. Martin, and Bailey Bland. Special friend of Edgar Lee Faison and Monique Brown; also survived by a host of cousins, friends and extended family members.
