Barry Barousse Obituary

Our beloved Barry "Bee" Kevin Barousse passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the tender age of 61. A loving husband to Robbin Brown Barousse. Proud and loving father of Dustin Kevin (Julie Michelle Stafford Barousse) and Jacob Travis. Son of the late Catherine Killingsworth Barousse and Eugene Joseph Barousse, Jr., and stepson of Vivian Revere Barousse. Brother of Cathy Gene Coyle (Tyrone), the late Eugene J. Barousse, III, (Fran), Karen Ann Brakel (Rob), Debra Mary Bouterie (late Alan G. Bouterie, Sr.), Daniel Myron Barousse, Sr. (Laurie), and Sharon Lynn Barousse (Ron). He had ten nieces and nephews, and sixteen great nieces and nephews. He adored his two grandchildren, Trenton Kevin Barousse, and Addison Harper Barousse. He loved nothing more than visiting his children and grandchildren, especially during trips to Tennessee. Barry has been a member of the Pearl River/Community of St. Tammany (Corner) for 21 years. Bee was a pest control man for 35 years. Initially, he worked for a private company, then, opened his own business, Ideal Pest Control. He graduated grammar and elementary school from St. Paul First English Lutheran School in 1974 and graduated high school from Chalmette High School in 1977. Bee was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, musician, and artist. Bee had a heart of gold with a giggly laugh, and infectious smile. He was happy, fun loving, and full of life. He loved the outdoors, and was in his element when on the bayou. He kept a fishing pole in his vehicle at all times, and was known to randomly stop off on the side of the road to fish. He loved picking his bass, and jamming with his brother Dan, his many friends, and bands he played with over the years. Bee was an incredible artist making sculptures of copper fountains, and beautiful creations from driftwood for family and friends. Barry was loved by all, and will be deeply missed! Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, face masks and social distancing are required to attend the services. To view and sign the Family Guestbook, please visit legacy.com or D.T.
