Benjamin Casanas Toledano

Benjamin Casanas Toledano, native of New Orleans, died at the age of 89 on Saturday morning, November 6, 2021, in Columbus, MS. Son of Frederick Albert Toledano and Beecye Casanas and brother of the late Suzanne Angele Toledano. Grandson of Benjamin Cyriaco Casanas and Hylda Weill and of Edward Alphonse Toledano and Bertha Angele Hall. Survived by his wife Margaret Bretz Toledano; his four children, Philip Macon Cheek Toledano (Katharine Howe), Gabrielle Beauregard Toledano (Kurt Gantert), Roulhac d'Arby Toledano, and Cleanth Brooks Toledano (Dheva Raja); and by their mother, Roulhac Bunkley Toledano. Also survived by his nieces, Suzanne Eugenie Redmond, Chrisabelle Redmond Ford, and Laure Larendon Redmond; and by his grandchildren, Elizabeth Marlande Toledano, Madeline Lucile Toledano, Benjamin Forsythe Gantert, Amelie Suzanne Toledano Gantert, Macon Limehouse Pratt Toledano, and Corbin Walker Pratt Toledano. Services will be held privately.
