Bernadette Fournette Obituary

Bernadette Anderson Fournette of New Orleans earned her wings on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the age 77. Bernadette had a long career at Compac Box Company until her retirement, when she could spend more time with her family. She was known for the love of her roses, baking cakes, her good cooking and singing in the church choir. Bernadette never met a person she wouldn't feed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leona (Moret) and Wilfred Anderson, twin sister Bernadine, brothers; Joseph Anderson and Henry Moret, and son Curtis Anderson. She is survived by (Sisters) Delores (Fernand) Jackson and Mary (Charles) Samuel. Her memories will be cherished by her husband Albert, children; Jude (Alyssa) Anderson and Lashonda Anderson, her grandchildren; Britany (Perry) Nick, Jude Jr., Brice, Jaelin, Kayla, and Dorothy, and great granddaughter Iniko and her Best Friend (Joycelyn Johnson). She is also survived by her a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Relatives & Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1835 St. Roch, NOLA 70117. Visitation will begin at 8:00 A.M. Fr. Anthony "Tony" Anala officiating. Interment will follow at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
