Bernard Gaillot Obituary

Bernard Joseph Gaillot, III, better known as ""BJ"", passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:00 am while surrounded by his family. He was an amazing father to four beautiful daughters: Julie Gaillot, Pauline Gaillot, Donna Gaillot and Courtney Gaillot; a wonderful husband of 25 years to Jodi Smith Gaillot; a great brother to Kenny (Gwen) Gaillot and Donald (Susan) Gaillot; a grandfather, uncle and a loyal friend to many. He was a compassionate man who enjoyed taking care of others in need. He enjoyed shooting pool and playing cards with his friends. BJ was born in New Orleans and was a resident of Metairie. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The online guestbook is available is at www.gardenofmemoriesmetairie.com.

I miss you Dad.
I love you more than you could ever know.
The only thing that makes me smile lately is knowing that you are with Una and Benny.
I will see you again one day Dad.
It's been really hard to lose my Unabelle and my Dad not even a year apart.
God will help me heal but right now I'm crying just trying to type this.
All my love forever and always....
