Beryl Lawrence Walter

Beryl Lawrence Walter entered into heavenly peace on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the age of 62. She was born on May 18, 1954 to Marion Branch Lawrence and the late George Lawrence, Sr. in New Orleans, LA. A life long resident of New Orleans, Beryl was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving spouse of 42 years, Rene J. Walter, Jr; sons, Rene J. Walter, III (Aya) of Sapporo, Japan and Craig Walter (Delilah) of San Antonio, TX; devoted sister, Neysa L. Gavion (Brian); brothers, George, Jr. and Kerwin Lawrence. Proud grandmother of Enri and Aaron Walter. Other relatives include, Brian Gavion, Gerald Walter (Elaine), Jennifer W. Henry (Irvin), Byron Walter (Katie-Ann), Denise W. McConduit, Rhonda W. Purnell (Alton), Kenneth Walter (Annie), Keith Walter, Donna W. Castenell (Andre), Eric Walter (Sonia), Eleanor W. Fields (David), Ann W. Marr (Craig) and Alvarez Walter (Elise). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Beryl was preceded in death by two siblings, Karen L. Sartor and Kenneth Lawrence; grandparents, Dennis and Agnes Branch, Bertha Anderson and Octave Lawrence. Funeral Services for Mrs. Beryl Lawrence Walter were held at Charbonnet-Labat-Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip St., on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 2:30 PM.
