Beverly Gagnet Obituary

Mrs. Beverly Landry ""Memere'' Gagnet died on November 28, 2005 in Daphne, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband, George P. Gagnet, Jr. and one son, G. Peter Gagnet III. She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Morgan of New Orleans, La.; two sons, Paul Gagnet of Metairie, La and Phil Gagnet of Daphne, AL; one sister, Marjorie Longmire of New Orleans, La; one brother, Alton Landry of Metairie, La. ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gagnet was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis Cabrini Church, New Orleans and most recently of Malta Square at Sacred Heart in New Orleans and Catherine Place in Daphne, AL. Services will be held on December 23, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Angela Merici Church followed by interment at Metairie Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.

We were neighbors back in the 1950's and early 1960's, on Chamberlain Drive. Mrs. Gagnet was a good lady, very kind. Our condolences to the whole family.

I worked with George Gagnet at Abroms & co in the late 50's andearly 60's. After george retired I would see him and his wife at lunch at the Monteleone Hotel. They were the best type of people. I am in Atlanta due to Katrina
