Brian Berry Obituary

Brian J. Berry, 31, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: to follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to his child's education fund: Zane Berry Education Fund, Wells Fargo Bank of Keller, Texas account #8666. Brian was born July 21, 1979, in Fort Worth to Bill and Nell Berry. He leaves a legacy of love, joy of life, generosity, laughter, treasured family and friendships. He was a good husband and a loving father to his son. He loved all Dallas area sports, Mavs, Stars, Rangers and mostly the Dallas Cowboys!! He felt the only reason there is an NFL is so the Cowboys will have someone to play. He went to Stephen F. Austin and was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He was so proud of the fact he owned his own company, Berry Custom Pools Inc. He enjoyed traveling, going to the beaches in Florida, riding jet-skis. He loved showing Zane how to explore life. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William F. Berry Sr. Survivors: His wife, Tara Berry; son, Zane Berry; parents, Bill and Nell Berry; brother, Travis Berry; nephew, Gus Gygi; grandparents, Mary Berry, Craft and Bonnie Largent; in-laws, Linda Steffen, Barry Heflick and Tiffany Gygi; aunts, uncles and cousins; along with a host of other family and friends.

The sorrow of the faithful
is not that of permanent loss,
but the tender sense of sadness
that comes in saying good-bye for now
to someone we love.
May today's sorrow give way
to the peace and
comfort of God's love
