Brian Quillin Obituary

QUILLIN Brian "Dog" Quillin departed this life on Friday, October 21, 2011 from a heart attack at the age of 51. He was a life long resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the son of Emmit Elmo and Vivian Blackwell Quillin, brother to Ernest A. and Dianne E. Quillin who all preceeded him in death. He is survived by a son, Brian Cooper, four brothers, Ellis Sr., Henry B., Zemmon, and Edmond Quillin Sr. (Sharon), three sisters Sarah M., Edna M. and Debra Quillin Foy (Roscoe Jr.) He is also survived by one aunt, Willie Mae Quillin, Bogalusa, Louisiana, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and devoted friends. Brian worked for L.F. Gaubert for 15 years. A private funeral will be held.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Quillen family... While I didn't personally know Brian, Henry and I attended Phillips Jr. High together. I Pray God's strength to those who knew "Dog" and know that God will surround all of you with his love and power to endure through this most painful hour.
