It was with a great sense of loss when I heard about the death of Bruce Picou.
I wanted to let you know that you have my greatest sympathy, and my heart is truly saddened. And, I know that his passing will not only leave a void in your life, but in the hearts of all those who knew him.Bruce will always remain within your heart, and I have included Bruce and you in our daily prayers. May God give you strength?

Roy, you have my deepest sympathy. Bruce was a kind, loving, caring, gentle man, but most of all a good friend. I will always remember him coming across the street to visit and especially to help me with my parents when they were ill, that was just the kind of man that he was. He would speak to my mother in french and she loved to have conversations with him. I will remember his kindness, his humor and the fact that he loved to tell a good story. Those are the memories that are precious and I will treasure forever.

Burce was one of a kind. He was so friendly, my parents thought the world of him. When ever my mom and myself went back to New Orleans my mom wanted to stop by and see Bruce and Roy, she missed them both so much. You could tell just what kind of man Bruce was just by the polite smile he gave to you. I will miss him so much. May the angles guide him to his journey home, and may the angles watch over his love-ones.
