Bryan Jefferson Obituary

JEFFERSON Bryan Jefferson Sr., age 47, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, January 10, 2010 after a valiant fight with gastric cancer. He is the son of the late Robert Jefferson and Audrey Gutter Jefferson. Son-in-law of Harvey J. and Emelda D. Foster. Youngest sibling of Bobbi Jean Chatman, Rosalind McCorkle, and Craig Jefferson. Bryan is also the beloved husband of Deborah Foster Jefferson as well as loving father of four sons: Mark Jefferson Sr., Jonathon Jefferson, Bryan Jefferson Jr., and Jermayne Jefferson. He is also survived by his five grandchildren. He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy Senior High and veteran of the U.S. Army. He had been a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA until 2001 when he moved to Las Vegas, NV. Bryan was an immense influence to many and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he'd touched. Memorial Services are Saturday January 23, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Water of Life Lutheran Church, 5430 S. Grand Canyon Drive, 89148 in Las Vegas, NV.

Debbie, we were sadden to hear of the loss of Bryan and could only recall our fun times of watching our boys play baseball together at Ponchartrain Park and the boys birthday parties at the house. We pray that God gives Bryan a peacefully rest and grant you and your family eternal comfort in the memories created.
