Whan Bryand was a little boy he visited us in MI. He spent a couple days with me. My car had an issue and I had to have it towed to a mechanic. After a couple hours, my car was fixed. Bryand and I had to walk 3 miles to get it. He was a real trooper. He didn't complain about walking, we talked about bugs, and clouds and the cars driving by. 3 Miles and never complained he was tired and didn't want to walk. I was very impressed with this little boy.

I manage a hobby-based community that Bryand and I shared and sometimes being in charge is not exactly fun. I've been doing it since 2011. Meeting expectations, presenting myself, being welcoming, and making everyone happy can all be very stressful. Sometimes it gets difficult to continue to motivate myself to do this. Sometimes it becomes difficult to tell who's supportive or who's actually in my corner. It can be a pretty thankless, unrewarding job. Even now it all seems so silly, but it's how I met him and so many other awesome people, so I guess it had to have been to be worth it.

Anyways, I remember I had just picked Bryand up from the New Orleans airport and I was driving him to his family's house. It had been during a particularly stressful event and I remember complaining to him about it. You know, kind of like seeking his advice. What had happened had a pretty major affect on me and I was so confused.

Half way through giving me his opinion Brydon stopped and reassured me that he was my friend and that he was happy to be my friend and that he was proud to be my friend even without our shared interest. It was very surprising. I remember exactly where I was when that happened. It felt like it was so obvious to him. He knew exactly what I needed to hear. To him, it was so front-facing that it was expected, like it wasn't a big deal. It all happened so quickly that it couldn't have been something that he thought twice about but it blew my mind. It really touched me. It felt like an honor.

I feel like genuine, deep appreciation is exceedingly rare today. To have someone I looked up to validate me completely unsolicited like that was very impactful. He reassured me that I could keep going on. When I am feeling down, I think about B. I think about all the advice he gave me. I think about how he made being so affable seem so effortless. I think about how charismatic he was. And I pray that I can handle myself even a little bit like how he did.

Knowing Bryand McIntosh was an honor, and being his friend was my privilege.

I met Bryand as well as the rest of the LAFGC thru fighting games as a young teenage kid who thought he was good.
Bryand and Tyler (Zaith) called me out in a match in street fighter 4 and they gave me the option to play either or... I choose Bryand, little did I know that was a big mistake.
He gave me easily my most humble experience I´ve had as a fighting game player and I was extremely embarrassed by how bad I got whooped!
At the same time I realized I had a long way to go before I could consider myself a good player and never underestimate my opponent.
Thanks Bryand, miss you big bro!

I met Brian through Sleepy & Rob. He was a cool dude and friendly. My favorite memories of him are when we all got together to play games, especialy fighting games. I'd be playing against him and he would get distracted by my button pressing. He'd say Lee what are you doing and I'd laugh and continue to try and distract him but he'd still win anyway. I'll never forget the 3rd strike tournament at Play n Trade. I was finally gonna win 1st place, all I had to do was beat Brian. He had Ken & I had Chun Li. It came down to the last round of the last match; his Ken was almost dead all I had to do was activate my super to win, there was no way he was gonna parry everything. He new about the gap in the super and threw me out of it to win. That was the 1st time that I or most of us there ever seen that. It was a hype moment and I had to settle for 2nd place but I wasn't even mad it was an awsome experience.

One of the purest souls I've ever known. My Brother, My Homie, My Best Friend. Bryand was a very special person, and I'm honored to have shared moments and memories with him.

Who would've thought that the quiet kid at our local mall arcade, would become one of the most influential people in my life. I learned so much from him and I continue to learn as his legacy lives on.

Smart, Funny, Kind and Patient. Loved sports, videogames, cars and of course... Girls lol. Krucial B was a leader and always held the attention of an entire room full of people.

I remember the long road trips to gaming tournaments. The laughs, interesting conversations and competitive banter. I miss those days. Simple things like hangin out with the gang at one of our apartments was so special and I'd give anything to have those days back.

I miss you Bryand. I love you Homie. Rest In Power.
