Calvin Joseph "Cookie" Toups

Calvin "Cookie" Joseph Toups, Jr. passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the age of 66. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Calvin Toups, Sr. and Ethel Toups. Father of Joshua Toups (Robyn). Proud grandfather of Joshua Toups, Jr. and Olivia Toups. Brother of Darrell Toups, Robin Toups (Marie), Angela Plaisance (Darwin), and Scotty Toups (Belinda). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Cookie grew up in Westwego. He loved hunting, helping others and spending time at the camp but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. Everyone who knew Cookie, loved him because he was so helpful. Cookie was loved and will be dearly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation on Saturday, July 20, 2024 beginning at 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, in Marrero. The Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.
