Carl Joseph Chaisson, Sr. passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Eunice "Tuddy" Rodriguez Chaisson. Loving father of Tracy Chaisson Vollenweider (Steven), Michael Chaisson (Alicia), Carl "Scooter" Chaisson, Jr. (Mandy). Grandfather of Blaine Vollenweider (Jordan), Trevor Vollenweider, Brittany Chaisson, Shayla Wilson (Quinn), Hayden Chaisson, Gabriella Chaisson. Great-grandfather of Brynleigh Vollenweider and Easton Vollenweider. Son of the late Mae Chaisson and Lester Chaisson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Carl loved the outdoors, spending a lot of time at the family camp in Grand Isle, and you could always find him on his swing. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service at Millet Guidry Funeral Home at 2806 West Airline Highway Laplace, LA on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. With a funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery located near the funeral home.
