Carl Robertson Obituary

Carl Leo Robertson, Sr., a retired merchant seaman and WWII Army Veteran, was call to glory on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Lindy Boggs after a lengthy battle with illness. Mr. Robertson, a native of New Orleans, was 79 years young. He was a member of Great St. Stephens Full Gospel Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Ellen Dean Gaskin; one son, Carl Robertson Jr.; one daughter Dianne Joseph, a sister Gertrude Taplin; five grandchildren; Dion Williams, Delainey Bouie (Jacob III,) Kwan Robertson (Adrena), Kenyon Joseph, Robert Celestine. Officiant, Pastor Gregg Thoms of Christian Faith Ministries. Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Ave. on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM. GERTRUDE GEDDES WILLIS FUNERAL HOME IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
